Eng. Millicent Alooh HSC is a Biomedical Engineer and Project management expert with 14 years of experience working in various hospitals in Kenya.
Eng. Alooh Currently Heads the Engineering department at the Mpshah Hospital, Nairobi. Before this she worked with the Aga Khan University Hospital, as the Manager Biomedical Engineering department, Aga Khan Hospital Kisumu as the Facilities Manager and the Nairobi women’s Hospital as the Maintenance incharge and Biomedical engineering technologist respectively.
Eng. Alooh doubles up as the National Secretary General(SG) for the Association of Medical Engineering of Kenya,AMEK, a position she has held since 2019.
Last year she was recognized by His Excellency the President of the republic of Kenya,Uhuru Kenyatta, with a prestigious award of Head of state commendation,HSC for her exemplary contribution on oxygen crisis during covid19 pandemic.
Other Awards and recognitions includes Star of the year, Covid19 Heroes and Biomedical Champion of the year 2021.
Eng.Alooh is a powerful force in greening healthcare facilities and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to create this awareness.
